Linear shelterbelts of waterbodies in urban catchments – the northern part of city of Poznań case study
Abstract
river in boundaries of Poznan city. The analysis shows also composition of genera of trees along waterbodies and general comparison to the net of shelterbelts located along roads. Simplification of urban landscape causes disappearance of secondary river tributaries and shelterbelts associated with hydrographic network. The results shows: dominance of Alnusand Populusspecies among other genera, the highest value of length of linear shelterbelts along drainage ditches .
